Prejudice

    The worst thing you can do to a person is to prejudice them. You can prejudice a person in a lot different ways. Sometimes you don’t even know your doing it. Since the beginning of time, there were always a group of people who were oppressed for being who they really are. As the time passes, most of the groups criticize back then are accepted, but some of them are still being prejudice.

    One of the most prejudice group is the gay people. They say that gay people are from the devil and things like that. Things that are not even real. I have a gay friend, and he’s  afraid to tell the world who he really is since he thinks that his parents are going to kill him. Also, most of his friends hate gay people. One day, he went out with another guy to the movies and you could see how everyone in the movie theater was looking at them. He never went out with a guy since.

    Teen moms are common these day. If you go to a high school, you can easily see 3 to 6 pregnant students. Young girls that have sex in such ages do not mean they are sluts, as most people call them. Every person have a moment of excitement and gets carried away. However, most of these girls are better mothers than 30 years old moms. For example, my cousin got pregnant at the age of 15 and she has worked her way to give everything she has to her daughter. Nevertheless, most people don’t see that, and they just prejudice them.

    A person who comes from Middle East is mostly considered terrorist. People these days, specially Americans, thinks that every person who comes from the Middle East are terrorist who want to kill everyone just because their country was at war with them. Most of them didn't even support what their own people were allegedly doing. They start throwing stuff at them, call them names, and even exclude them from the society itself. Middle east people just travel to America to have a fresh start, a better life. They don’t have any intentions on hurting anyone.


    Every town, city, country of the entire world has people that have been prejudiced. Humanity is suppose to help each other no matter the differences. It affects not only the victim of this act, but everyone around him, and even yourself because it shows who you really are. Not the first generation, not neither this generation nor the next generation will be prejudice-free. They will always find something to criticize about you.
